Aggregates Business on how CFlo is expanding its presence in Europe

Aggregates Business has published a feature on CFlo's expansion into the European quarrying and aggregates sector, looking at the partner-led model behind it and at the modular wet processing range we brought to the market.

The piece covers our launch at Hillhead 2026 in Buxton, the UK and Europe's largest quarrying, construction and recycling exhibition, and the registration of CFlo Europe in Belfast. From its Belfast base, CFlo Europe supports customers across the UK and Europe, with a wider remit into North America and Oceania, alongside CFlo World FZE in Sharjah and the group's headquarters and manufacturing hub in Kolkata.

Enda Ivanoff, Regional CEO of CFlo Europe, told the publication that the European market is "a natural fit for our technologies and experience", and set out the certified partner model that will carry the technology to market through people the industry already knows.

Why Europe, and why now

Europe is already a well developed market for recycled materials. The question for operators there is not whether to recycle but how to do so on a constrained site, with the water handled inside the plant rather than alongside it.

That is the case for modular wash plants with integrated water treatment. An urban recycling site rarely has room for settling lagoons and rarely has water to spare, so recovering around 95% of process water and producing a stackable filter cake is what makes the plant viable where it has to stand.

The underlying pressure is not regional. A recent United Nations Environment Programme report put global sand use at around 50 billion tonnes a year and expects demand from the building sector alone to rise by 45% by 2060, opening a gap that natural sand cannot sustainably fill. That gap is what engineered sand and washed recycled aggregates exist to close.

The Combo in the article

The feature singles out the Combo, our patented modular plant, and the reason it suits a site with little room to spare: water treatment is on board, so there are no separate tanks, pumps or pipework to accommodate. Recycling the water with gravity rather than pumping it takes roughly 30% off pump power.

The range now runs to the Combo X220, which handles minus 5 mm feed carrying 10 to 15% silt and produces construction grade sand at controlled grading. It ships in standard containers, so installing, relocating and recommissioning it stays a planned move rather than a rebuild.

Twenty years, and the next four

CFlo marks its 20th anniversary in 2026. Manish Bhartia, Global CEO and Managing Director, described the Hillhead launch to Aggregates Business as the start of Vision 2030: to be the most trusted brand in modular wet processing across all five regions by the end of the decade, earned through certified partners who stand beside customers in their own markets.
