Micrograder Silica Sand Plant for the Middle East
Specialist sand to optimised specification with minimal environmental impact, engineered for the Gulf's glass, frac and industrial sand markets.
The Micrograder is a modular silica sand classification and beneficiation system for specialist industrial sands: frac, glass, foundry, filter, sports and equestrian sand. Combining attrition scrubbing, precision screening, spiral concentration and 95% water recycling, it is delivered across the Middle East by CFlo World FZE. UAE toll free: 800 088 601045.
Specialist sand for demanding industries
Industrial sands serve a variety of uses and typically require more complex processing than construction-grade sand: high purity levels or very tight standards and specifications in the finished product. Micrograder handles frac sand, sports and horticultural sand, foundry sand, glass sand, filter sand and equestrian sand.
CFlo's experience in designing, manufacturing and installing specialist classification and beneficiation systems ensures sand specification is optimised, plant footprint is reduced and environmental impact stays minimal. In the Middle East, Micrograder is delivered through CFlo World FZE, supporting Middle East industrial projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
Scrubbing and screening that maximise yield
The feed hopper features an integrated belt feeder for efficient material transfer, with a belt weigher as standard. Atropure attrition cells then maximise product yield through efficient contaminant removal, operating at 80% solids concentration for maximum scrubbing efficiency and a higher specific capacity that needs less power, cutting running costs.
The Screenmax precision fine rinsing screen delivers superior screening and classification of fine sand. Robust side-wall construction and superior abrasion resistance ensure long operational life, while even power distribution across the full screening area keeps screening and dewatering efficient.
Precision separation by density and size
Spiropure spiral gravity concentrators provide accurate density separation, removing contamination from the final sand product by exploiting differences in particle density and hydrodynamic properties.
The Vertimax upward-flow classifier classifies particles by size and upgrades feed material containing groups of differing specific gravity: heavier material settles and builds within the tank while lighter material reports to the overflow.
95% water recycling, market-ready product
The Hydromax high-rate thickener delivers 95% water recycling with the smallest equipment footprint in its class, minimising environmental impact, shrinking settling ponds and reducing health and safety risks on site. CFlo's sludge management technology accelerates tailings drying for a smaller footprint and returns recycled water to the plant faster than other systems.
At the product end, the Centriscreen Dewatering & Sizing System delivers washed sand ready for market straight from the belts, turning product into revenue as quickly as possible.
Proving the specification before manufacture
On glass, foundry and filtration grades the specification is what the buyer tests on arrival, so it has to be established first. CFlo runs bulk samples through pilot units at its DSIR-accredited material testing lab, reporting achievable grading, silica content and iron levels, with chemical assay on the finished product.
Pre-Engineering then converts that into a complete engineering package while the project is still in approval: process flow, mass balance, layout and equipment schedule. The plant is designed against your deposit rather than a standard arrangement, and manufacture starts as soon as the project is confirmed.

Talk to our Middle East team
CFlo World FZE supports silica sand producers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, including float glass grade silica sand projects. The Sharjah office is led by Rakesh Jha, Head of Sevaforce, with three engineers permanently stationed there, a service van, and spares, consumables and flocculants in regional stock. The team also services equipment from other manufacturers. Call toll free from the UAE on 800 088 601045 or request the Micrograder brochure. The regional hub opened in 2025.

Frequently asked questions
What sands can the Micrograder produce?
Specialist industrial sands with tight specifications: frac sand, glass sand (including float glass grade), foundry sand, filter sand, and sports, horticultural and equestrian sands. The system is configured per project so the finished product meets the purity and gradation standards your industry requires.
How does the Micrograder remove contaminants from silica sand?
Three complementary stages. Atropure attrition cells scrub surface contamination at 80% solids concentration for maximum efficiency. Spiropure spiral gravity concentrators separate particles by density and hydrodynamic properties to remove heavy contamination. The Vertimax upward-flow classifier then separates by size and specific gravity, with lighter material reporting to the overflow.
How much water does a Micrograder plant recycle?
The integrated Hydromax high-rate thickener delivers 95% water recycling with the smallest equipment footprint in its class. That reduces fresh water demand, shrinks or eliminates settling ponds and lowers on-site health and safety risks, which is decisive on water-scarce sites across the Middle East.
Why does 80% solids concentration matter in attrition scrubbing?
Operating Atropure attrition cells at 80% solids maximises particle-on-particle scrubbing action, so contaminants are removed more efficiently per pass. It also gives a higher specific capacity from a smaller machine using less power, which translates directly into lower running costs per tonne of finished sand.
How do I contact CFlo about a silica sand project in the Middle East?
