  • Rated Capacity: 120 TPH

Client Overview

Metrro Waste Handling Pvt. Ltd., headquartered in Thane, Maharashtra, is a recognized operator in municipal solid waste (MSW) management and construction & demolition (C&D) waste recycling. The company is dedicated to supporting sustainable infrastructure development by converting waste streams into valuable construction materials, contributing to the reduction of landfill burden and aligning with national programs like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

Project Background

To address growing volumes of urban waste and to enhance material recovery, Metrro Waste Handling Pvt. Ltd. engaged CFlo for a second time. After the successful deployment of the Reurban D2100 in 2019, CFlo was again entrusted to develop a high-performance C&D waste recycling system for the waste recycling tender awarded by Thane Municipal Corporation. The outcome was a 120 TPH modular wet processing system, designed to address the specific challenges of dense urban operations-namely limited space, mixed feed complexity, and the need for water and energy efficiency. This new facility was built for flexibility, fast deployment, and consistent, high-quality output.

Client Challenges

Metrro faced several pressing challenges including mixed and contaminated C&D waste, inefficient manual segregation, limited land availability for processing, and a lack of effective mechanisms to recover saleable sand and aggregates. Conventional practices not only led to environmental degradation and regulatory compliance issues but also made material recovery economically unfeasible.

CFlo’s Solution

CFlo responded with its world-class modular wet processing system, tailored for mobile deployment and high throughput. The core of the solution included a dual pass sand processing setup integrated with Scrubmax RW100, enabling aggressive scrubbing of coarse aggregates. This ensured effective removal of cement slurry, clay, and organic binders from the coarse material fractions.

The system was fully modular and automated, offering remote monitoring, closed-loop water recycling, and minimized operator intervention. With a compact footprint and rapid commissioning capability, it was an ideal fit for the urban constraints of Thane.

Key Highlights of the Solution

The custom wet processing system delivered consistent recovery of three market-ready products:

  • +6 mm Aggregates
  • Concrete Sand
  • Plaster Sand

All of these met construction-grade quality requirements, enabling immediate offtake by downstream users.

Compact and modular plant design allowed for efficient operations on a restricted site area while supporting relocation or scale-up as needed

Sustainable design features included:

  • Water consumption: 17-22 m³/hr
  • Power consumption: 202 kW
  • Closed-loop water cycle to minimize liquid discharge and environmental footprint

We would like to confirm that both plants are running satisfactorily as per the provided TPD. The overall performance has met our expectations and CFlo's services are at optimal capacity to run the plant smoothly. We highly recommend CFlo World Limited solutions for handling C&D Waste.
