Zeal Alliance upgraded its M-Sand washing setup with CFlo’s Combo X70 to improve product consistency, operational efficiency, and water usage. Replacing a conventional screw washer with an integrated wet processing solution has enabled more stable production and improved confidence in meeting quality requirements for infrastructure and RMC applications.
Zeal Alliance is a well-recognised name in the aggregates and minerals sector of Madhya Pradesh. The company has built its reputation on consistent quality and dependable supply, serving both infrastructure projects and Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) customers.
CFlo’s association with Zeal spans nearly a decade. Over the years, the relationship has evolved through regular technical engagement, plant visits, and problem-solving discussions.
This long-standing collaboration helped build confidence not just in CFlo’s equipment, but also in its engineering approach, service support, and long-term partnership mindset.
Prior to installing the Combo X70, Zeal Alliance was operating a conventional screw washer for M-Sand production. While functional, the setup presented growing limitations as market expectations increased.
Silt levels were difficult to control, leading to variability in product quality. A significant quantity of usable material was being lost as waste, impacting overall recovery and yield. Water consumption was high, adding to operating costs and reducing process efficiency. Despite sufficient feed availability, the plant also struggled to consistently achieve targeted production levels.
Together, these issues affected not only operational efficiency, but also the confidence with which the plant could serve demanding customers.
By 2023–24, Zeal began evaluating alternatives to their existing arrangement. The requirement was not merely a replacement for
the screw washer, but a compact, dependable M-Sand washing solution that could deliver consistent quality while improving efficiency and reducing water usage.
Equally important was the need for reliability and strong technical backing, given the importance of stable operations when supplying infrastructure and RMC customers.
A visit to CFlo’s manufacturing facility proved to be a key moment in the decision-making process. During this visit, the Zeal team closely reviewed the Combo X70, focusing on its integrated process design, operational simplicity, and approach to washing, classification, and fines recovery.
What stood out was the way multiple wet processing stages were combined into a single, compact system, offering better control and efficiency compared to the existing setup. Zeal Alliance’s decade-long experience with CFlo’s reliability and service support further strengthened confidence in the solution.
CFlo proposed the Combo X70 as a complete replacement for the existing screw washer.
The integrated system enabled tighter control over silt and ultrafines, improved recovery of usable material, and significantly reduced water consumption. Its compact footprint simplified operations while delivering a consistent output suitable for quality-driven applications such as road construction and RMC supply.
Rather than incremental improvement, the Combo X70 represented a clear step forward in how Zeal Alliance approached M-Sand washing and classification.
Following commissioning, the Combo X70 delivered visible improvements across Zeal Alliance’s operations. M-Sand quality became more consistent, with improved control over silt content. Operational efficiency increased, allowing for more stable and predictable production.
Most importantly, the plant is now able to consistently produce Zone II sand, meeting the expectations of both infrastructure and RMC customers. Water consumption has reduced substantially, and improved fines recovery has lowered waste generation while increasing overall material yield.
